Hines Ward Blackmailed

TMZ – Hines Ward was the target in a diabolical extortion plot … so say police who arrested a man for allegedly threatening to release evidence that Ward paid women for sex.

Cops arrested 26-year-old Josh Van Auker yesterday … after he allegedly demanded $15,000 from the former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar in exchange for materials that he claims would prove Hines patronized prostitutes.

According to police, Van Auker claimed Ward used to bang his GF — though it’s unclear if she is one of the people he claims Ward paid to have sex with.

Cops say they arrested Van Auker in a sting operation — in which he made the cash-for-evidence handoff with Ward’s personal assistant … who was working with detectives.

Van Auker is now facing 2 counts of felony attempted extortion — he’s due to face a judge as soon as possible.

Easy Josh – If I had a nickle for every rich athlete my GF’s “banged,” I’d be a rich non athlete.  If rich athletes had a nickle for every hooker they banged….well they would still be rich athletes.  Anyway, take it as a compliment and move on… oh and get tested 😐

Lock City: Week 3 NFL Picks

Miggles Season Record 10 – 8 – 2

Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) at Washington Redskins (1-1)

I don’t like the line at the momet especially with the Redskins losing to the Rams and losing two of their best defenders in the process, but it is their home opener and RGIII and the Skins will be jacked up. As such, I like the total a lot more as these are two high flying offenses at the moment and with Cincinnati struggling defensively and the Skins without Orakpo and Carriker I think this one fly’s over 46.5.

Miggles Pick – OVER 49

Atlanta Falcons (2-0) at San Diego Chargers (2-0)

This should be a good one as both teams defend the run well and have QB’s who can get the ball in a hurry. The QB’s are close, Rivers maybe a better arm, Ryan less likely to take a bad chance and make a big mistake but the Falcons receivers are the better group and Turner the better option at running back and that should be the difference and the points make this an even better play.

Miggles Pick – Atlanta +3

Houston Texans (2-0) at Denver Broncos (1-1)

The Texans are the team to beat int e AFC and the Broncos don’t have enough to beat them so even as a small favorite in their second of back to back road games they are the choice here.

Miggles Pick – Houston -1.5

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) at Oakland Raiders (0-2)

The total in this one is set a little too low as today’s NFL is all about scoring and we should see some here as both of these teams have quick strike ability.

Miggles Pick – OVER 44 and Steelers – 3.5

Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) at Arizona Cardinals (2-0)

Philly looked like the team they set out to be the whole second half last week.  They held Flacco to a 6 for 20 performance in the second half on the way to their second consecutive comeback.  I think the turnovers are over and we are gonna see a full four quarters from them this time and they win by a TD here.

Miggles Pick – Philly – 3

New England Patriots (1-1) at Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

Im not too sold on the Pats D as of yet.  Holding the Cards to single digits at home doesnt sway me too much.  Ravens D is opportunistic and definitely makes things happen, but if they allow Gronk to get off like they did Celek last week, it could be a long game for them.  That being said, Im not too sure they were prepared for Celek, rest assured they have prepared for Gronk.  I think Ravens hold court at home and cover this spread easy.

Miggles Pick – Ravens – 3
