Terrell Owens Plays Midget In 1 on 1 Basketball…Loses.

Okay, after watching that I don’t know what they left out but my immediate takeaways are 1.) how do you guard that little guy morally. 2.) T.O apparently cannot drive to the basket? 3.) T.O get a job 4.) Who is that babe at 38 seconds in the background?

Carlton Fisk DUI

ESPNESPN – Hall of Fame catcher Carlton Fisk was charged with a DUI in New Lenox, Ill., on Monday after he was found unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle, which was found in the middle of a corn field, according to New Lenox police.

“Around 7:20 (Monday) night, we received a couple of calls about a vehicle in a field,” Deputy Chief Bob Pawlisz said. “When officers went over there, they found Mr. Fisk unconscious behind the wheel.

This is amazing… Fisk, 7:00 pm on a Monday night. Take notes fellas apparently Carlton is a  hall of famer in more areas then one… absolutely phenomenal story… Like I have so many questions I want to ask him about this night.

Just dancing around his car doing this:

Chuck Goin Hard On MNF

USA TODAY –Barkley, who had the Packers and giving 3, told Mike Missanelli of 97.5 The Fanatic that “I got screwed four times, man” referring to the last second play and a couple of calls previously.

“Bro, I don’t think I’ve ever been this mad in my entire life,” said Barkley who added that he can “take winning and lose but I don’t want to ever get jobbed like I did” on Monday.

When Missanelli asked if it was a six-figure bet, Barkley said no that “it’s just regular season bro” but did say it was “a lot, a lot a lot” and then did admit it was a five-figure wager.

Chucky just throwing down 5 figure bets on Monday Night Football… dude would’ve had it locked if he checked with miggles first.  It’s so hard to dislike charles barkley, i’m not even going to try.

If  you listen closely at the end you hear “you aint even supposed to be gambling”

Refs Are Back

DM  – The NFL has ended its labor dispute with the referee’s union, agreeing to a deal that will have experienced officials back on the field on Thursday night.

The tentative agreement comes two days after a massive fan and player uproar over a botched call that decided the outcome of a game on Monday night.

The stalemate, which saw the NFL’s referees locked out since the beginning for the pre-season, had been whittled down to disagreements over ‘a little money.’

Fuck, am I the only guy here who is going to miss these replacement refs? I mean I love the NFL but these guys have single handedly turned it gong show. and I’m loving every second of it. Hits are bigger, almost anything goes and the game is always up for grabs, I’ll take it any day. Oh well, welcome back hoch.

I asked Ed Hochuli how many curls he’s been doing: “As soon as I heard the rumors today, I got down on the floor and started doing pushups.”

Refs Killing it in Seattle

I think they got the call right? How bout you?

This fucking call blows my mind, It blows my mind. Don’t get me wrong here.. I was pulling for Seattle. I wanted the game to end with this exact scenario, it’s what makes football exciting but wow these refs are taking what little integrity the NFL had left and Gronk smashing it off of our dicks.  I mean I saw that replay 3 times and on the first i knew it was an interception… fuckin hire me in the booth.

Anyway, Pete Carroll gets the W, Russell, Marshawn and the rest of Seattle get the W and Gruden still has a mushroom cut. The NFL goes back to its quiet peaceful existence on this Tuesday morning.

Lock City: Miggles Monday Night Football Pick

Ok so thus far week one has had some surprises, a few coming from the NFC East.  Cowboys look good, Giants look ehhh, Eagles were on the verge of starting the same way they did last year and RGIII might be the real deal.  That being said, we went 3-1 yesterday and 8-5-1 overall, looking to take those winnings and double them on a crazy, but “good” play tonight.

Cincinnati Bengals (9-7) at Baltimore Ravens (12-4)

The Bengals returned to the postseason led by rookie quarterback Andy Dalton who led the cats to an impressive season offensively that they will look to duplicate in the very tough AFC North. Rookie receiver AJ Green was equally as impressive and has already emerged as one of the league premiere receivers and with another training camp and preseason under his belt I think Green is ready to continue his progression and join the league’s elite. The Bengals also brought in former Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis to replace Cedric Benson in the back field giving Cincinnati a solid running game that is complimented by Bernard Scott and a solid aerial attack. Coming into Baltimore to open the season on Monday Night Football is no easy task and thus the line indicates the Ravens as a -7.5 point favourite but I think that may be a stretch considering this is a divisional game. The Ravens faithful will be doing their best to make it a tough environment for the Bengals but I think Cinci can hold their own and keep this thing close. Getting 7.5 points is a gift.

San Diego Chargers (8-8) at Oakland Raiders (8-8)

San Diego takes to the road to open the season on Monday Night Football in very hostile territory and while they may finish the season ahead of the Raiders, the season opener could be a very difficult one to win. Either way I think both of these teams will be more prolific on offense than on defense and will want to come out early to set a tone for the rest of the division. For that reason I think this one can go over the total as the likes of McFadden, Rivers, Palmer, and Gates will come out gunning and I think we could see a shootout here.

Miggles Pick – A Tease Cinci +14.5 and SD/Oakland Over 39.5

I know I know…But its gonna hit so shhhhh and trust me.
