Boston Bruins Welcome Back Milan Lucic

For the first time since he has been traded, Milan Lucic appeared at The Garden.  After reading his Players Tribune article, it makes sense that the move was necessary, it makes sense that during his last year with the bruins, Lucic wasn’t playing his game. I am happy to see the successes he is having in LA but damn if he’s not missed in the city of Boston. Lucic was Boston hockey, he brought back memories of old Boston hockey and the guys who played the game hard and fast. The Bruins lost a little identity when they lost Lucic and Thornton and they are both greatly remembered by the city of Boston.

Lock City: Week 9 NFL Picks

Denver Broncos (4-3) at Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)

With these teams looking to be moving in opposite directions this line looks to be a trap, but I will take the bait as I look for the Broncos backs to take advantage of the Bengals suspect defense.

Miggles Pick – Denver – 5

Carolina Panthers (1-6) at Washington Redskins (3-5)

I see a lot of exciting offense and this one could be a shootout so I look for this one to soar over the total and Ill take this Skins here to keep Obama in office.  “Redskins Rule” Google it.

Miggles Pick – OVER  48 and Skins – 3

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3) at NY Giants (6-2)

This should be a good one and what could be a Super Bowl preview, but the Giants have the edge here as their strengths play more into the Steelers’ weaknesses with the pass rush and Pittsburgh’s vulnerability in the secondary.

Miggles Pick – Giants – 3.5

Dallas Cowboys (3-4) at Atlanta Falcons (7-0)

This could be an up and down game if Dallas can protect the ball, which hasn’t been to easy for them as of late. Next to the Broncos who have a talented defense, by far, the Cowboys defense will be the best the Falcons offense has faced so far this season.

Miggles Pick – Boys +4

Lock City: Week 10 College Football Picks

We are a blistering hot 22 – 9 – 2 the past 6 weeks and looking to keep the momentum going with what we feel might be a very strong day for us.

Virginia Cavaliers (2-6) at North Carolina State Wolfpack (5-3)

Even with two weeks to prepare I don’t think Virginia can fix the problems they have, especially on offense. NC State’s offense, led by Glennon, will be too much for UVA to handle AND their offense won’t be able to keep up. I’m laying the points and taking the Wolfpack.

Miggles Pick – State – 10.5

Oregon Ducks (8-0) at Southern Cal Trojans (6-2)

Oregon is on their path to the National Championship Game. The Trojans have looked inconsistent and appear out of the picture. The Ducks should lay it on USC so with the line as low as it is I’ll take the bait.

Miggles Pick – Oregon – 8.5

Clemson Tigers (7-1) at Duke Blue Devils (6-3)

Clemson has been good to us this year and after Duke got dominated by FSU’s offense, I dont see them being able to stop the Tiger’s  offense either this week. I have to go with the road favorite in this one, as once again I believe Clemson rolls and wins by at least three touchdowns.

Miggles Pick – Clemson – 12.5

Alabama Crimson Tide (8-0) at LSU Tigers (7-1)

“This is Death Valley this is truly a place where opponents dreams come to die” Les Miles

This game looks like a defensive battle just like both games last year and look for this one to come in under AND like always when we see a defensive battle we take the points and the home dog.

Miggles Pick – LSU + 8.5 and UNDER 40

 MIGGLES HOUSE

Win us a Championship and We’ll Riot!

Smile, moron! You’ve just become one of the most wanted men on the Internet!

San Francisco police are hoping that someone will be able to identify this idiot or some of the people standing around him as he smashed a giant barricade through a SF Muni bus window. The incident happened late Sunday night after the San Francisco Giants clinched their second World Series title in three seasons and triggered the eventual burning of the $1 million vehicle.madness.

Though 36 people were arrested in the celebrations — 23 for felonies — Muni spokesman Paul Rose says none of them have yet been for this incident. The bus originally cost $700,000 and was recently renovated for $300,000 more.

Never understood how so many “happy” people, turn so angry so fast.  A basketball player has a monster dunk over someone then turns to the crowd and yells “MOTHER FUCKERRRR!!! WHAT SON?!?!? WHAT!?!?! AHHHHHHH!”  Or in this case…hey your team has just won the World Series, congratualtions!!!!! “YAY!!! LETS  BURN THIS MOTHA FUCKIN CITY TO THE  GROUNNNNND …..AHHHHHH!”

Oh and most importantly – Those buses are a Million bucks?!?!

PS – The guy standing on top of the bus is amazing.

Man pulled out of collapsed building from Sandy…was promptly arrested for looting

DM – The abandoned three-storey building in the north of the city had been reduced to rubble after Superstorm Sandy battered the east coast of the United States.

Firefighters working to make the building safe didn’t think anyone was inside, until they heard someone crawling out of the rubble.

After helping him to safety, police officers arrested him for disorderly conduct and suspicion of looting.

It turns out this fool wasnt trapped at all.  He crawled in the building after it collapsed looking for stuff to take.  Again, I dont have the strongest moral fabric,  so I cant say Im completely against looting…when opportunity knocks you take it.  Kidding of course….kinda…I think?

Anyway, this idiot crawled into an already ABANDONED building looking for stuff to loot.  Risk reward my man, risk reward.

Here are some other fools who I am sure are or will be arrested for looting.  I swear you should have to pass an IQ test to own a Twitter account.

All of Atlantic City, NJ Underwater

DM – Rising waters put most of Atlantic City under water Monday as the approach of Hurricane Sandy flooded towns up and down the New Jersey shore, knocked out power to thousands and left some people stranded in water-surrounded homes, forcing rescues.

Emergency officials said they expected conditions to get much worse at evening high tide and the center of the storm could hit at about the same time.

Willie Glass, Atlantic City’s public safety director said  ‘Most of the city is under water.’

Its about time someone or “something” did something about this shit hole.  If you you’ve ever been to Atlantic City,  I’m sure you will agree with me the world would be a better place without it.  If you haven’t, take my word for it, this is the degenerate capital of the world.

Last time I was there I lost $500 bucks.

Lock City: Week 8 NFL Picks

Carolina Panthers (1-5) at Chicago Bears (5-1)

The Bears have put up some big numbers already this season, scoring 34 or more points in half of their games.  I actually think Jay Cutler being banged up has kept the line reasonable.  I like the Bears in this one…A LOT.

Miggles Pick – Bears – 7.5

Atlanta Falcons (6-0) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-3)

Philadelphia is a great team who hasn’t played well and is playing a great team who has played too well. Vick is definitely playing for his job in this one and what better way to break out than against his former team. Andy Reid is also 13 – 0 after a bye, I think he keeps that streak in tact here. My strongest play of the week

Miggles Pick – Eagles -3

Washington Redskins (3-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3)

I like the Skins to cover with a possibility of them taking the game outright. Pittsburgh has been squeaking by everyone of their wins this season. Definitely taking the points here.

Miggles Pick – Skins +4

Miami Dolphins (3-3) at NY Jets (3-4)
The Jets pulled out a close 23-20 overtime victory against the Dolphins earlier in the season in Miami. Since that loss though the Dolphins have lost just one game and have been in three very close match-ups. I like them to run all over the Jets and win this one outright.
Miggles Pick – Miami +1.5
NY Giants (5-2) at Dallas Cowboys (3-3)
I like the Giants to get redemption on the road after losing at home to Dallas to open the season. Look for the Giants to run the ball a lot and throw as many passes to tight ends as possible trying to take advantage of Sean Lee’s absence in the middle of the Dallas defense.
Miggles Pick – Giants – 2.5
New England Patriots (4-3) at St. Louis Rams (3-4)
Getting a touchdown with a home team in most cases in the NFL is a good starting point.  Rams aren’t necessarily the home team here, but they arent the road team either.  I like the points here as the Rams can keep games close.
Miggles Pick – Rams +7

Lock City: Week 9 College Football Picks

We are a white hot 19-5-2 in the last 5 weeks with the kids.  Lets hope we can keep the streak going and make some more money.  Good luck!

North Carolina State Wolfpack (5-2) at North Carolina Tar Heels (5-3)

UNC  may have the more talented team, but they are too inconsistent to lay more than a touchdown in a rivalry game. I’m taking the points in a game that may come down to the last possession.

Miggles Pick – NC State +7.5

Michigan State Spartans (4-4) at Wisconsin Badgers (6-2)

The Spartans do have a solid defense, which I think can keep things close for awhile, but Wisconsin is the better team and should get the late cover.

Miggles Pick – Wisconsin – 5.5

Ohio State Buckeyes (8-0) at Penn State Nittany Lions (5-2)

Penn State looks to be the play here as they are always tough at home, and I just think PSU is playing as well, if not better than anyone in the conference right now.

Miggles Pick – Penn State – 1

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-0) at Oklahoma Sooners (5-1)

The Irish will lean on their defense to try and slow down an Oklahoma offense who is on a roll right now. The problem I see here is will Notre Dame score enough to keep this one close.  I’m going with the hot team and laying the points.

Miggles Pick – Oklahoma – 11

Mississippi State Bulldogs (7-0) at Alabama Crimson Tide (7-0)

Mississippi State hasnt really played anyone,  but at the same time they haven’t lost yet nor played poorly and might be getting just a few too many points here so the play is talking the three TD’s.

Miggles Pick – Mississippi State +23
